For the 2025 edition of ArPa, Pinakotheke Cultural presented a solo stand dedicated to the work of Oswaldo Goeldi (1895–1961), an artist who was essential in the consolidation of modern engraving in Brazil.
The selection brought together woodcuts and drawings from different moments in the artist's career, highlighting the melancholic and poetic character that characterizes his production. With a close look at solitary figures, dark urban landscapes and the elements of night and rain, the set of works highlights the singularity of his visual language, defined by a unique expressionist atmosphere.
