Paulo Sergio Duarte and Ronaldo Brito
This course offers a deep immersion in Brazilian modern art, exploring its roots, development and impact through critical discourse with two of the greatest contemporary art critics: Paulo Sergio Duarte and Ronaldo Brito.
In addition to revisiting the understanding of the works of these artists, the course aims to discuss the role and evolution of critical discourse over the decades. It seeks to update the critical reading of the movement, its protagonists and works, analyzing how they resonate today and what new meanings can be extracted in light of recent theoretical and critical approaches.
