The exhibition "Lygia Clark (1920-1988) 100 years", held in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo between August 2021 and January 2022, was chosen as the best retrospective of 2021 by the São Paulo Association of Art Critics (APCA).
Curated by Max Perlingeiro, "Lygia Clark (1920-1988) 100 years" brought together approximately 100 works by the artist, including paintings, drawings, engravings, animals, climbing plants, soft works, cocoons, relational objects, photographs and documents, almost all of which have never been seen before by the Brazilian public. "Pinakotheke is honored to have been awarded Lygia Clark, and to be together with great names such as Rita Lee, Jaider Esbell and Tunga. Lygia's memory and legacy will live on for another 100 years", says Max Perlingeiro.
