Max Perlingeiro is recognized as an active figure in the country's artistic and cultural scene. A gallery owner and curator, publisher and entrepreneur in the cultural sector, he specializes in managing important private collections in Brazil.

This year marks 45 years of his journey through Brazilian art. He has become a relevant promoter of the country's artistic movements by curating landmark exhibitions.

He constantly receives important awards in recognition of his contribution to national culture from institutions such as the National Book Institute, the Brazilian Book Chamber, the Brazilian Association of Art Critics, the São Paulo Association of Art Critics, the National Foundation for Children's and Young Adult Books and the Brazilian Committee of the International Council of Museums.
